This is basically a stormtrooper costume that is being modified to resemble the original character.

Jared Henry is just, well, an epic guy. And he loves playing the part of 3D-YO. He's really getting into this. LOL
The mask is an original 1977 Lucas Film full latex head mask. We did have to paint it to match the paint used for the costume.

Land Speeder Prop

Yabba0Dabba Doo! This land speeder will accommodate 4 characters. They won't sit but stand ~ the actors will pick up speeder waist high with handrails inside and walk/run the speeder! Just like a Flintstone mobile! Certainly adds a little humor but the imagination is there!

This is a costume for a small person, preferable a youth. The top comes off, actor goes inside, feet in droid shoes. Top piece is secured with 2 bungee cords once actor is inside. 2 handles are inside the bottom tub to hold up for support. 2 Windows for viewing and 2 air ports.

Probably the biggest financial investment for VBS in regards to costumes was this Darth Vadar costume. Along with his Ultra Saber (not pictured here), the total cost is right at $1,000!
This will certainly be a strong pull for our character appearances at local businesses.

(Yoda Puppet) aka Pastor Euodia, pronounced Yo-dee-ah, is an actual name from the Bible mentioned by Apostle Paul. Since the name sounds so similar, we used for this drama.

These three are rehearsing their light saber duel using foam covered broom sticks. Once all 3 ultra sabers arrive, practice with the real thing begins.

Sketch - Millenium Falcon

In the main auditorium where all the action is, an idea to utilize the overhead balcony by propping out a hugh portion of the Falcon overhead. This will be a challenge.
Other ideas include a smaller portion of the Falcon to protrude from the side wall.

Ultra Saber

We take this project pretty serious. At least 3 sabers are being purchased by our staff members. They run at least $300 each, custom made to order with sound effects. These puppies are made to duel with...of which we will take advantage of within the drama!
